ChannelCheck is an AI-powered YouTube channel discovery, search and evaluation application — an intelligent navigation tool for YouTube.
While most search engines focus on individual videos, ChannelCheck is designed to help users discover and understand YouTube channels. Its goal is to help identify creators who may offer valuable and interesting content over the long term.
The system continuously collects, analyzes and categorizes publicly available YouTube channels. Users can search freely using keywords, browse the ChannelCheck database by categories and subcategories, and — within defined limits — search the wider YouTube channel universe as well. Since a channel may belong to multiple topics, ChannelCheck assigns up to three categories and subcategories to each channel, each with its own relevance level.
ChannelCheck is a continuously evolving knowledge base. User feedback and suggestions play an important role in improving channel classifications and AI-generated evaluations.
Artificial intelligence generates both a short summary and a detailed evaluation for every channel. Users who want a deeper understanding of a channel may also request an individual Premium AI Review.
ChannelCheck analyzes YouTube channels in many different languages. AI-generated evaluations are created in the original language of each channel, while the unified category system makes it easier to discover and compare channels across languages. The system also supports displaying evaluations in a user-selected language.
ChannelCheck is currently in an active development phase. During this period, all core features are available free of charge.
For technical purposes, the system records the usage of AI services. This supports development and resource planning, and may later serve as the basis for accessing premium AI-powered services.
Our goal is to keep the core search and discovery features of ChannelCheck freely available to everyone, while optional advanced AI services may develop according to user needs.
ChannelCheck also supports saving, printing or sending evaluations by e-mail, making it easier to archive and share useful results.
